Jenise Wright has over 25 years of experience in public education and has served as an instructional leader for 15 of those years. Ms. Wright earned both of her degrees at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Although she currently serves the students at Del Valle as the Principal of the Early College High School, she is a teacher at heart. She gleans information and life lessons from various sources, such as the Bible, books, movies, pastors, instructional leaders, teachers, students, her sons, and her granddaughters. Some of the most profound lessons have come from her sons and granddaughters, specifically, unconditional love. Ms. Wright is passionate about providing students and staff with resources, tools and strategies that help them become the best versions of themselves.
It is an honor to be the Principal of the Early College High School in Del Valle. I can truly say that interacting with students, my young scholars, has brought incomprehensible joy to me!
Although I have a rewarding career in public education as the Principal of ECHS, I am a teacher at heart. I glean information and life lessons from various sources, such as the Bible, books, movies, pastors, instructional leaders, teachers, parents, students, my children, and my granddaughters. Some of the most profound lessons have actually come from my granddaughters. The lessons learned are often shared with others, both young and old, who are seeking guidance or direction. Many have shared that my teachings, advice, and insight have made a positive impact on their lives, and that is my heart’s desire.
I am looking forward to a successful and rewarding school year, and I encourage you to partner with me and the ECHS staff as we work diligently to enhance the lives of our young scholars.
