Campus Profile

The Early College High School was established in Del Valle ISD during the 2015-2016 school year, and the Pathways in Technology Early College High was launched in the 2021-2022 school year. Both schools render rigorous coursework as students meet the challenge of being a high school and college student. As a result, this enables students to simultaneously earn a high school diploma, Level 1 Certificate, and an Associate of Applied Science degree (P-TECH only), or an Associate of Arts degree (ECHS only) from Austin Community College at no cost to the student nor their family. These unique school within a traditional high school models are designed around the bold idea that academic rigor, combined with the opportunity to save time and money toward a college degree, are powerful motivators for students to work hard and rise to new intellectual challenges.

Early College High Schools promote an attitude of excellence and inspire young scholars to become active participants in their own learning as they seek to become lifelong learners and ethical citizens.

Student Voice…Student Choice

Our goal is to empower students to self-advocate using their voice and to make informed decisions, coupled with employability skills and internal work-based learning opportunities, which will prepare them to be competitive citizens in a global society.
